Rena Patel, PhD – President
Rena is a graduate of Duquesne University (Ph.D.) and California Western School of Law (J.D.). She has practiced IP law since 1998, as an associate at Woodcock Washburn (now Baker Hostetler), Patent Counsel at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Chief Patent Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive. Having spent several years working in Europe and Asia, Rena has significant global experience in IP practice. Currently, she is an independent consultant serving start-up ventures as well as multinational pharmaceutical companies. Rena has been a member of the WW-P Education Foundation board since 2013, when she and her family relocated back to the West Windsor-Plainsboro district. She has 2 sons, a senior at HSN and a 7th grader at CMS.
Diane Hasling – Vice-President
Diane studied Computer Science at Princeton University (B.S.E.) and Stanford University (M.S.). After working in technology in California’s Silicon Valley for several years, she and her husband moved to West Windsor in 1986. Diane has been an active community volunteer for over 20 years, including roles with the school PTSAs, church, scouting, and a term on the WW-P School Board. Her three children all feel fortunate to have completed their K-12 education in the WW-P schools. She is employed by Applied Educational Research in Princeton. Diane joined the Board of the Education Foundation in 2007 and has served as Program Committee Chair and Vice President.
Anita Grueneberg – Treasurer
Anita joined the WW-P Education Foundation board in 2012. She is a graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Business and Economics. Anita worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb before leaving to raise her two sons. She has served on several boards and volunteers for non-profit organizations in the community. Anita has been actively involved in West Windsor-Plainsboro PTSA’s and supports public education. Currently, Anita is an independent financial consultant providing accounting and bookkeeping services to local small businesses.
Esther Sun, PhD – Secretary
Esther earned an MS and PhD from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and an MBA from the Roth School of Business at the University of Michigan. She is currently employed as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, managing technology implementation supporting finance, financial fraud prevention, and risk control. She has been an active member of the Princeton and West Windsor communities, acting as the Director of Public Relations for the Princeton Football Club’s Board of Directors, a Trustee for the Princeton Youth Ballet, and as a volunteer on the West Windsor Arts Council. Esther and her family have lived in West Windsor since 2007; her son graduated from North, and her daughter is a junior at North. Esther joined the foundation in 2015.
After graduating from MIT in 1982, Ed worked in investment management and consulting in financial services. He started his own international, internet-based business in 2002 and has been a featured speaker at several conferences. Ed and his family have lived in Plainsboro for 25 years; his two sons graduated from South. Ed joined the foundation in 2012 and served as President of the foundation from June, 2012 to June, 2016.

Lynn Tang, Ph.D.
Dr. Linghui (Lynn) Tang is Professor of International Business and Economics at the College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She earned her Ph.D. in International Economics from Syracuse University in 1998. Prior to TCNJ, she has taught at Drexel University, University of Southern Mississippi, and Albright College. She was the Project Director at TCNJ for the Business and International Education (BIE) grant from US Department of Education between 2010 and 2013. Dr. Tang has volunteered in different roles to serve the West Windsor Plainsboro school community ever since she moved here in 2010.
David Aderhold, Ed.D. – Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Aderhold joined the WW-P Regional School District in August 2009, as assistant superintendent for Pupil Services/Planning. In November 2011, the WW-P Board of Education promoted Dr. Aderhold to the position of deputy superintendent. In July 2013, Dr. Aderhold assumed the position of superintendent of schools for the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. As stated by the Board president, “Dr. Aderhold has embraced the district’s mission and has demonstrated outstanding leadership in all areas of the district’s educational program and operations. Having served as a teacher, assistant principal, high school principal, assistant superintendent, and deputy superintendent, David Aderhold has breadth and depth in his experience.”
